Victor Bayda

Victor Bayda is the Language Planning Officer for South Kerry. He is responsible for implementing the South Kerry Language Plan.

Victor holds a doctorate in linguistics from the University of Moscow and worked there lecturing in Irish before taking up the post in Uíbh Ráthach.

Micheál Ó Sé

Mícheál Ó Sé is the Education Officer in conjunction with the Kerry Education and Training Board.

Michael is a native of Cathair Saidhbhín. He graduated with a degree in Education from the National University of Ireland, Galway.

The purpose of the Education Officer is to help the pupils of Uíbh Ráthach schools to become more involved with Irish outside the classrom. It is important to foster an informal and fun experience with the language among young people and Mícheál’s job is specifically focused on that.

Áine Uí Bheoláin

Áine Uí Bheoláin is the manager of Comhchoiste Ghaeltacht Uíbh Ráthaigh, the lead organization in the language planning process in South Kerry.

Áine is a native of Cathair Dónall. She has spent many years working in the community services field.
